Job summary

China Comservice (Hong Kong) Limited is hiring an Assistant Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor to oversee site safety operations. You will monitor compliance with safety plans, assist the Safety Officer, identify hazards, and support investigations to prevent recurrences.

The role requires a Diploma/Higher Diploma in OSH, a Construction Safety Supervisor certificate, and a First Aid certificate, with at least 2 years of site experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is required.
• Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA) is preferred.
• Valid First Aid certificate is required.
• Minimum 2 years' site experience in safety roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site operations for compliance with site safety plan and main contractor safety protocol.
• Assist Registered Safety Officer to prepare, implement, maintain, monitor and review safety matters.
• Identify potential hazards and monitor preventive measures on site.
• Assist in accident/incident/near-miss investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Assist with risk assessments to ensure safe work methods and conditions.
• Plan, organize and deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety trainings.
• Prepare safety reports, meeting minutes, and safety promotion materials.
• Assist in safety audits and ad-hoc safety projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA)

Valid Certificate of First Aid

Key responsibilities

Prepare safety reports, meeting minutes, materials and safety promotion/awareness programmes

Assist in site safety audits and ad-hoc projects

Perform any other relevant duties as assigned

About you

Diploma/Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or related field preferred

Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA)

Valid Certificate of First Aid
