Job summary

South China Morning Post invites a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Assistant Operations Manager to bolster the Revenue Operations team in Causeway Bay. You will bridge data-driven analysis with hands-on billing operations and process improvements to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and efficient workflows.

The role requires 4+ years in Business Analysis or Billing, strong Salesforce skills, advanced Excel, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Business Management, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Revenue Operations Specialist, or Billing Analyst.
• High proficiency in Salesforce is required. Ability to quickly learn additional software applications that interface with Salesforce.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills with a proven capability in building complex models.

Responsibilities

• Map and optimize current revenue operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize operational efficiency.
• Identify system gaps and spearhead initiatives for automation, tool integration, and structural process improvements.
• Drive system upgrades by capturing functional technical requirements and executing end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform rigorous billing reconciliation and data scrubbing to ensure 100% accuracy across all commercial and financial records.
• Develop robust financial models that look beyond raw numbers to uncover operational risks and unlock revenue opportunities.
• Act as the primary bridge between Sales teams, Finance, and Technical teams to resolve the queries promptly.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support for strategic executive projects and critical departmental assignments as required.
• Lead and mentor a small operations team in managing end-to-end customer and vendor billing cycles, upholding high standards of accuracy, invoicing efficiency, and contract compliance.
