Job summary

South China Morning Post Publishers Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Assistant Operations Manager to support the Revenue Operations team in Hong Kong. The role bridges data-driven analysis with hands-on commercial execution, focusing on process optimization, billing operations, and system enhancements.

You will map and optimize revenue workflows, drive automation initiatives, and ensure accurate billing and financial reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business Management, Finance, or related quantitative discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Revenue Operations Specialist, or Billing Analyst.
• High proficiency in Salesforce is required. Ability to quickly learn additional software applications that interface with Salesforce.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills with a proven capability in building complex models.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of organizational workflows and system interdependencies.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate business needs and recommend process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Map and optimize current revenue operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize operational efficiency.
• Identify system gaps and spearhead automation, tool integration, and structural process improvements.
• Drive system upgrades by capturing functional technical requirements and executing end-to-end UAT.
• Perform billing reconciliation and data scrubbing to ensure accuracy across commercial and financial records.
• Develop robust financial models to uncover operational risks and revenue opportunities.
• Lead and mentor operations team in end-to-end billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and contract compliance.
