Feather and Bone Holdings Limited in Wan Chai is seeking a passionate Retail Shop Assistant to greet customers, assist inquiries, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on our fine food, beverages, and premium meat offerings.

You will handle transactions at the POS, restock shelves, receive deliveries, and maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards while delivering outstanding service in a busy, upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience (food/beverage or hospitality a plus).
• Passion for food, wine/beverage, and quality meats.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and food pairings.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor; fluent English.

Key responsibilities

Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on our food, drink, and meat offerings.

Assist with the handling, display, and packaging of premium meat cuts (e.g., Wagyu, dry-aged beef, specialty pork, and lamb) while maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Process transactions accurately using our POS system, manage cash/card payments, and handle customer requests efficiently.

Receive deliveries, restock shelves, ensure accurate product labeling, and maintain visually appealing displays.

Adhere strictly to food safety regulations, temperature monitoring, and cleanliness guidelines across all shop areas.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous retail or customer service experience (experience in food, beverage, butchery, or hospitality is a strong plus).

A genuine passion for food, wine/beverage, and quality meats.

Basic knowledge of (or eagerness to learn about) meat cuts, preparation methods, and food pairings.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

High flexibility to shifts & working locations, including weekends and peak retail periods.

Proficient in both spoken and written English.

Immediately available will be highly preferred.
