Job summary

Private Advertiser in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Retail Operations and Business Development Manager to drive operational excellence and growth across retail channels. You will lead store operations, inventory control, and financial discipline while pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships to support expansion.

You will manage a retail team and Store Manager, assess performance, and influence senior leadership through data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

Must have experience in retail operations, business development, or related field.
Proven track record overseeing a retail business or unit.
Experience managing managers or front-line teams.
Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
Fluent Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee the overall performance and operational effectiveness of the retail business.
Provide direction and support to the Store Manager and retail team.
Monitor sales performance, inventory, supplies and expenses.
Review management reports and implement improvements to efficiency.
Lead business planning, resource planning and performance reviews.
Ensure standards in customer service, store presentation and staff performance.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships and sales channels.
Develop relationships with potential partners and corporate clients.
Prepare business proposals and recommendations for senior management.
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties including suppliers and advisers.
