Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an experienced Assistant Retail Operations Manager to lead operations and sales performance for a major Beauty and Cosmetic retail business in Hong Kong. You will drive sales growth, optimize inventory, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across multiple categories.

You will manage a team of managers and frontline staff, develop strategic plans, set KPIs, and collaborate with marketing to execute promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in department stores or multi-category retail operations.
• Strong track record in sales planning, merchandising, inventory management, budgeting and cost control.
• Well-connected in the retail industry with market awareness of trends and purchasing behaviors.
• Proven leadership with problem-solving, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese, with Putonghua on top of English.

• Strong track record in sales planning, merchandising, inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Well-connected within the retail industry, with strong market awareness and understanding of customer trends and purchasing behaviors.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-oriented, highly proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with conversational Putonghua required.
• Flexible to work on a shift roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.
