Job summary

Shopify is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to accelerate technical enablement for partners across Greater China, including China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. • Proven track record in enterprise-level commerce, technical agency environments, or partner engineering.
• Ability to evangelize and align partners with Shopify's broader strategy.
• Exceptional consultative skills across complex stakeholder groups.
• Deep understanding of Shopify's API ecosystem and integrations.
• Experience designing storefronts using Shopify Liquid templating.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub for collaboration.
• Solutions-first approach to architecting merchant experiences.
• Commercial acumen to translate tech requirements into business impact.
• Passion for technical enablement and helping others master Shopify.
• Adaptive in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate partners' technical capabilities across Shopify products.
• Design and lead technical enablement programs for partner groups.
• Empower partners to leverage Shopify AI innovations.
• Keep partners informed on new product releases and launches.
• Develop scalable skill roadmaps for onboarding agency partners.
• Present Shopify's competitive advantages at partner events.
• Contribute to co-marketing and case studies to grow pipelines.
• Serve as primary technical expert for partner RFPs during sales cycles.
• Oversee post-sale deployment and ensure merchant GMV realization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve partner-merchant experience.
