Job summary

China Construction Bank (Asia) in Hong Kong is seeking a Relationship Manager within CBDII to manage a substantial loan portfolio and identify growth opportunities. Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Bank’s other Divisions, CCBC domestic and overseas branches to achieve cross selling and risk control.
• Communicate with Risk Management /Operations /Legal and Compliance etc. for efficient internal approval while meeting the respective compliance requirements.
• Assist Team Head of CBDII to manage a substantial loan portfolio of Blue chips and large corporates (mainly in areas entrusted to the team) to derive maximum profitability for the Bank while maintaining the quality of the lending.
• Prospect and generate new business by focusing on enhancing existing relationship, and identifying opportunities for uptiering
• Take initiative to recommend new products that suit the customer’s needs and maintain high standard of service so as to continually expanding the customer base by means of attracting new and retaining existing clients.
• Keep regular contacts with other financial institutions to collect the information of the existing customers of the Bank in covered areas for risk monitoring, identify banking opportunities and make recommendation to the Bank and/or CCBC relevant branches.
• Timely report of the work progress.

Requirements :

• University degree in business or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant banking experience.
• Strong marketing skills with an ability to sell banking services to a competitive market in a highly motivated and profitable manner.
• Qualification in ECF is preferred
• Network of relationships with corporate customers and financial institutions.
• Sound credit analysis skills relating to corporate, sovereign and bank debt.
• Good command of both English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Candidates with SME / Mid-cap coverage would also be considered.
