Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong is seeking an Analyst in the Asia Pacific Compensation Accounting team. Based in Hong Kong, you will support payroll, accounting, and tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions with exposure to regional and global stakeholders.

You will collaborate with external payroll vendors and internal teams, contributing to control processes and payroll-related projects in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, accounting or finance required.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience including human capital at Big 4 accounting firms.
• Experience in handling general ledger posting and accounts reconciliation.
• Knowledge of individual income tax and benefit programs is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and processing of compensation information.
• Reporting and accounting to internal and external authorities.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure data integrity.
• Review, reconcile and substantiate general ledger account balances.
• Assist in formulating payroll processes including new pay entity set-up and tax effective programs.
• Work with global CA counterparts on compensation reporting.
• Document processes.
• Participate in global projects.
