Job summary

Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad's Southeast Asia HR team seeks a Deputy HR Manager / HR Manager (Regional BP) to lead people strategy, staff management, and talent development for regional entities. This is a full-time role aligned with regional business needs and HR excellence.

Based in Hong Kong, you will partner with HK headquarters and business lines to drive regional talent initiatives, manage cross-border assignments and expatriate processes, and maintain data-driven HR dashboards while

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related disciplines.
• 3-10 years’ experience in Human Resources with regional exposure preferred in banking.
• Familiar with Employment Ordinance and labor regulations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia.
• Qualifications on global mobility and talent management will be an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; Putonghua is an advantage.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset; able to work under pressure and independently with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive HRBP for Southeast Asian entities on HR functions, including staff management, talent development, workforce planning and budgeting.
• Formulate the Group strategies on regional talent development, and partner with HK headquarters' Business Lines to execute initiatives.
• Coordinate regional assignment, cross-border transfers, and expatriate management.
• Track regional HR dashboards (turnover, headcount/ FTE forecasts, talent gaps) to offer data-driven recommendations.
• Participate in other assigned HR tasks.
