Job summary

Coface is seeking a visionary Head of Data Strategy to steer regional data initiatives. You will shape the data agenda, align governance with business goals and partner with IT and business units to maximize data value across the region.

You will lead data governance, profiling, and scalability efforts, enabling advanced analytics and enterprise-wide core data capabilities. The role offers a hybrid work setup and broad international exposure within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data-related field.
• 10+ years in data strategy, analytics, leadership.
• Proven track record implementing regional data strategies.
• Strong governance, compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Hands-on with architecture, big data, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and analytics tools.
• Leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional data strategy aligned with goals.
• Implement data governance frameworks for quality, compliance, security.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on governance policies and data standards.
• Set data policies, standards and best practices regionally.
• Develop data profiling, quality assessment and cleansing activities.
• Oversee adoption of new data trends, technologies and innovations.
• Ensure data infrastructure supports advanced analytics and BI initiatives.
• Measure and optimize data strategies for better business outcomes.
• Define keying/linking architectures for entity resolution across sources.
• Define data matching rules and record linkage for multi-sourcing and 360 views.
