Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a Head of Data Science & AI to lead the organization’s data science, analytics, and AI development capabilities, aligning with the CAIO to drive enterprise-wide Data & AI transformation.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams spanning Data Science, ML, analytics, generative AI, and AI product development, delivering measurable business value while ensuring governance and risk compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Science, AI, ML, Advanced Analytics, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Data Science, Analytics, or AI teams.
• Demonstrated experience developing, training, deploying, and operating AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering business outcomes through AI and advanced analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience engaging senior business stakeholders and executive leadership; insurance/financial services or other regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science, Analytics, and AI transformation strategies in the organization.
• Oversee end-to-end design, development, training, evaluation, deployment, and optimization of AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and operationalize enterprise AI products throughout their lifecycle.
• Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices for production AI solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders and governance teams to ensure compliance and value realization.
