The role requires translating complex technical concepts into business value, supervising a sizeable data science team, and delivering data-driven improvements in operations and customer experience using ML, NLP, and MLOps platforms while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing data science strategies to align with business goals.
• Leading a team of data scientists and AI specialists to deliver impactful projects.
• Implementing advanced AI models to optimise operations and customer experience.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes.
• Overseeing the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets.
• Staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in data science and AI.
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

• 12+ years' experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, AI, or Machine Learning.
• Proven leadership experience managing sizeable analytics and AI teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI transformation programmes.
• Background within insurance, financial services, banking, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and business leaders.

Strong understanding of and technical capabilities in:
