Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join its regional compliance and risk management team in Hong Kong. This role offers exposure to regulatory, risk, and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions within a global services network.

You will support the implementation of the compliance framework, conduct CDD/KYC/AML checks, and assist with regulatory reporting. Strong English skills and a background in law, finance, or risk management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated 3–5 years of compliance, AML, KYC, risk management, regulatory, or governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the firm's compliance and risk management framework.
• Conduct Client Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), AML, sanctions screening, and conflict checks.
• Review and assess new client onboarding requests and ongoing monitoring requirements.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance policies, regulatory requirements, and risk-related matters.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, compliance reviews, and monitoring activities.
• Investigate and escalate potential compliance issues, breaches, and risk concerns where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure documentation is retained in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives to employees when required.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential impacts on the business.
