Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Officer to support APAC risk and compliance for HK regulated entities. You will oversee regulatory adherence, advise on Financial Crime, data protection, BCP, and IT security, and manage AML escalations.

Your profile includes a law/finance/compliance background with 2–4 years of relevant experience, English and Chinese proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role offers hybrid work arrangements and global benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Fund Services and/or Corporate Services within APAC financial services.
• Basic understanding of the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) sector, including Private Equity, Real Assets, and Debt funds.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Alter Domus Hong Kong Limited and Alter Domus Credit Administration Hong Kong Limited.
• Provide guidance on local regulatory requirements and risk and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams on topics such as Financial Crime, Personal Data Protection, BCP and IT security.
• Monitor regulatory changes, draft notifications and report developments to Senior Management.
• Execute regulatory compliance control testing and communicate results and deficiencies.
