Job summary

MAX CHINA ENGINEERING LIMITED 豐華工程有限公司 in Tai Po, Hong Kong, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage main and subcontracts, prepare interim payments, and settle final accounts. The role also involves cost estimation, tender pricing, and materials procurement for diverse projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying qualification with HKIS membership and has at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or Higher Certificate in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• HKIS Quantity Surveying Division Corporate Membership or an equivalent qualification.
• Min. 5 years relevant experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and hard-working.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD experience would be an advantage.
• Experience in NEC Contract would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administrate main contracts and subcontracts.
• Prepare interim payments and perform measurement works.
• Settle final accounts for main contracts and subcontracts.
• Value Compensation Events and Site Instructions for subcontracts.
• Estimate project costs, control costs and manage budgets.
• Prepare pricing documents for tender submissions of potential projects.
• Handle material procurement and subcontractor payments.
• Support subcontracting and subcontractor payment processes.

Job Highlights

• Responsible for the administration of main contract and subcontracts
• Responsible for Interim payments preparation and measurement works
• Settlement of Final Account of main contracts and subcontracts
• Valuation of Compensation Event and Site Instruction for subcontracts
• Project cost estimation, cost control and budget management
• Prepare and submit pricing documents for the tender submission of potential projects
• Material procurement
• Subletting and prepare subcontractor's payment

Qualification
