Job summary

MAX CHINA ENGINEERING LIMITED 豐華工程有限公司 in Hong Kong is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to manage contract administration, interim payments, and final accounts for main contracts and subcontracts. The role requires strong cost awareness, proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and good communication in English and Chinese.

Applicants with professional qualifications such as MHKIS, MRICS, or RPS will be preferred; those with less experience may be considered for Assistant

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in quantity surveying.
• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is required.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and hard-working.
• Experience with NEC Contract is an advantage.

Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Responsible for the administration of main contract and subcontracts
• Responsible for Interim payments preparation and measurement works
• Settlement of Final Account of main contracts and subcontracts
• Valuation of Compensation Event and Site Instruction for subcontracts
• Project cost estimation, cost control and budget management
• Prepare and submit pricing documents for the tender submission of potential projects
• Material procurement
• Subletting and prepare subcontractor's payment

Qualification:

• Holder of a Degree, Diploma or Higher Certificate in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, Preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as MHKIS, MRICS, RPS
• Holder of HKIS Quantity Surveying Division Corporate Membership or an equivalent qualification
• Min. 3 years relevant experience in quantity surveying
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and hard working
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
• Experience in NEC Contract would be an advantage
• Applicants with less qualification and/or experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
