Job summary

Yick Man Estates Ltd. seeks a Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to manage payments, costs and final accounts on Hong Kong projects. The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, HKIS considered, and at least 5 years of relevant HK experience in hotel, commercial, or residential developments.

Proficiency in MS Office and QS software is expected. Location: Wan Chai, 5-day week and group medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Hong Kong construction projects.
• Familiarity with HK standard forms of construction contracts and contract administration.
• Experience with EOT applications, interim payments, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Yick Man Estates Ltd. is a well-established investment property company. We would like to invite high caliber individuals to fill the following position.

Responsible for evaluating contractors' and subcontractors' payments, monitoring project costs, assessing completed works, preparing and negotiating final accounts, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle, etc.

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines

Candidates pursuing or studying towards HKIS professional qualification will also be considered

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Hong Kong construction projects, experience in hotel, commercial, or residential developments is an advantage

Strong knowledge of Hong Kong standard forms of construction contracts and contract administration

Hands-on experience in handling EOT applications, interim payments, variations, and final accounts

Proficient in MS Office applications and quantity surveying software

Able to work independently, good communication and co-ordination skills

Less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
