Job summary

Tokalent in Hong Kong is seeking a Project Manager for a Web3 Venture Studio to translate product vision into executable plans and lead cross-functional teams. The role focuses on delivering features on time and within budget, while coordinating design, engineering, R&D and marketing efforts.

You will conduct user research, market validation, and competitive analysis to guide development cycles and communicate status to venture partners and executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management or related position.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle including engineering, design, UI/UX and QA.
• Applied knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and tools.
• Strong conceptual, strategic and creative thinking with ability to prioritize ideas for execution.
• Track record of delivering/tracking multiple projects on time.
• Experience working with external third-party development teams.
• Experience using data and insights to inform planning and decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to compile and summarize information from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting the features and vision of a product into executable plans and tasks, andtracking the progress of features as they're developed to ensure the roadmap isimplemented on time and within budget
• Running a cross functional team (tech, design, R&D, marketing) and arrangingworkflows from end to end to deliver user friendly, bug free, and optimized features forthe products
• Conducting user research, market validation, competitor landscape analysis to guideand improve the product development cycles
• Facilitating standup, planning and retrospective meetings and compiling status reportsfor venture partners and C-level executives

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a project management or related position
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including engineering, design, UI,UX and QA
• Applied knowledge of project management methodology, techniques and tools
• Strong conceptual, strategic, and creative thinking and the ability to discern andprioritize ideas for execution
• Track record of delivering / tracking multiple projects on time
• Familiarity working with external, third-party development teams
• Experience in using data and insights to inform planning and decision making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific expertise in compilingand summarizing information from multiple sources

Preferred

• Experience in a Project Management role for a web3 and/or DeFi protocol
• Knowledge of fintech / trading product development cycles
• Relationship building skills with leaders and technical teams & the ability to developconsensus and drive stakeholders to a decision
• PMI Body of Knowledge / PMP certification
