Responsibilities
- Designing, building and deploying smart contracts to create high performance, lowlatency user-facing products for the portfolio companies
- Writing clean, gas optimized, and reusable smart contract and protocol code in Solidity
- Collaborating with product managers to innovate and develop user-facing featuresbased on market trends and competitive analyses
- Scoping complex features and work closely with designers and fellow engineers toexecute implementation, testing, and deployment
- Participating in code review and writing rigorous test suites to maintain code qualityand ensure adherence to best practices
Requirements
- 5+ (for senior role)/ 2+ (for junior role)years of experience in software engineering with solid, demonstrable work onGithub or otherwise
- Shipped a product to mainnet using Solidity
- Ability to ship code using test-driven development
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Awareness of engineering best practices for fintech products and DeFi protocols
- Problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and good judgment
Preferred
- A Bachelors or professional degree in STEM field
- Knowledge or expertise in Node.js, React/React Native, gas optimization and basicknowledge of encryption and cryptography
- Deep understanding of financial products in a web3 context
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including engineering, design, UI,UX and QA
