Job summary

Tokalent, Asia's leading Web3 venture studio, is hiring a Front End Engineer to build and maintain DeFi frontend apps using modern TypeScript frameworks like React.

You will work with engineers to integrate with smart contracts and on-chain data, collaborate with designers for intuitive UIs, and implement UI elements from mocks while optimizing performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM field.
• At least 1 year (junior) or 3 years (senior) with demonstrable Github work.
• Expertise in Typescript and React.js with related libraries.
• Familiarity with web3/DeFi practices and modern web frameworks.
• Knowledge of Material UI, CSS, HTML, GraphQL, Git; testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web3 frontend apps using modern Typescript frameworks like ReactJS.

About the job Front End Engineer - Web3 Venture Studio

Company

- Our client is Asia's leading web3 venture studio focusing on DeFi projects

Responsibilities

- Building and maintaining web3 frontend applications using modern Typescriptframeworks such as ReactJS

- Working with other engineers to integrate the frontend with smart contract logic as wellas on-chain data

- Collaborating with product owners and designers to develop visually appealing andintuitive user interfaces

- Implementing functional UI elements for various user facing features from designmocks, and optimizing said elements for performance and accessibility

- Participating in code review and writing rigorous test cases to maintain code qualityand ensure adherence to best practices

Requirements

- Bachelors degree or above in a STEM field

- At least 1 year of experience (for junior role) or 3 years of experience(for senior role)with solid, demonstrable work on Github or otherwise

- Expertise in Typescript, React.js, and related libraries and tools (React, Context,Hooks etc.)

- Knowledge of current best practices for web3 and DeFi, and understanding of thetrends and technical progression of web frameworks and design patterns

- Familiarity with Material UI, CSS, styled-components, HTML, Git, GraphQL

- Familiarity with test driven development and frontend testing frameworks

Preferred

- Understanding of blockchain products and DeFi protocols from an end-userperspective

- Understanding of Solidity, web3.js, ethers.js, BigNumber.js, and The Graph (optionalbut you are expected to pick these up quickly with support from other devs)

- Experience working autonomously in cross functional teams on different projects

- Good time management, prioritization, and communication skills
