Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Project Manager, Safety & Compliance to lead autonomous electric vehicle projects at the Hong Kong Airport. The role focuses on safety management system development, regulatory compliance, and coordinating resources, clients, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

Candidates with aviation/public safety management background, PMP or ISAGO certifications are preferred. Strong leadership and documentation skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• ISAGO certification (IATA Safety Management System) is a plus.
• Knowledge of aviation safety, safety management, emergency response, risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage resources, clients and vendors to deliver Autonomous EV projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Develop and implement the safety management system and training manual to meet on-site safety standards and regulatory requirements at the Hong Kong Airport.
• Lead project status meetings and reporting with users; ensure all documentation for vehicle project delivery is complete.

About the job Project Manager, Safety & Compliance

About our client:

Our client is a leading company in Autonomous vehicles & intelligent driving that specializes in developing advanced technologies and solutions for autonomous vehicles.

They are looking for a safety & compliance project manager who would in charge of the project to implement Autonomous vehicles in the airport area.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for management of resources, clients and vendors for the execution of Autonomous Electric Vehicles projects to ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, cost effective and up to quality standard
• Responsible for developing and implementing the safety management system & Training Manual to ensure that the on-site operations at Hong Kong Airport meet the safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage and motivate staff to achieve the highest performance

• Check and approve all test results given in the test file and reports, prepare test results review report
• Responsible for all documentations regarding the vehicle project delivery
• Manage regular project status meeting and report with user

Requirements:

• Educational background: Priority will be given to professionals with a background in aviation management, airport management, public safety management, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
• Work experience: More than 5 years of work experience in related fields such as aviation, airport operations, public safety, etc. Candidates with management experience and safety management experience will be preferred.
• Familiar with project management standard and documentation with PMP qualification is an asset
• Certification: Possession of relevant certifications is also a plus, such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Safety Management System Certification (ISAGO).
• Knowledge and skills: Knowledge of aviation safety, safety management, emergency response, risk assessment, etc.
