Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) invites high calibre IT professionals to join as Programme Manager for major corporate projects. You will lead IT enabling works, coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure delivery milestones align with AA objectives.

The role requires a university degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 8+ years of experience in large IT projects, preferably in aviation. Proficiency in ITIL or PMP is preferred, with strong leadership and bilingual communication in English and

• Lead IT enabling works for major corporate projects including T2, T2C, T2C Apron, ESA, WSA, 11 Skies and SKYTOPIA.
• Oversee design, implementation and deployment of IT systems for corporate projects.
• Manage IT project resources, contractors and insourced staff to control cost, scope, schedule and risks.
• Integrate existing 2RS IT systems with new IT systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT security, cybersecurity and data protection policies.
• Ensure smooth transition of IT systems from construction to operation, including handover and training.
• Maintain IT governance and QA to meet AA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and change management for go-live readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT enabling works as Programme Manager for major corporate projects including T2, T2C, T2C Apron, ESA, WSA, 11 Skies and SKYTOPIA, ensuring alignment with AA objectives, strategies and delivery milestones;
• Oversee the design, implementation and deployment of IT systems for corporate projects in accordance with approved standards and requirements, covering airport international and corporate IT systems;
• Manage IT project resources, including IT Professionals, Technical System Leaders (TSLs), contractors and insourced workforce to control cost, scope, schedule, risks and changes to meet AA's objectives and project KPIs;
• Integrate existing 2RS IT systems with new IT systems, evaluating solutions to address system performance, functional gaps and future enhancement needs;
• Ensure compliance with IT security, cybersecurity and data protection policies for all new enhanced IT systems throughout the project lifecycle;
• Ensure smooth transition IT systems from construction to operational phase, including system handover, operational readiness, documentation, user acceptance, training and support setup;
• Maintain IT governance and quality assurance to ensure compliance with AA standards, enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements and best practices; and
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure system readiness for go live and minimal impact to airport operations.

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 8 years of relevant experience;
• Proven and excellent experience in managing and delivering large IT projects, preferably in aviation industry;
• Solid experience on large IT system migration and integration projects from the construction stage to the operation stage;
• Qualification in ITIL and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications is preferred;
• Proven leadership skills with good communication skills;
• Concrete business knowledge and technical knowhow to understand various airport systems, airport business;
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
