Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial renovation, corporate fit-out, or interior design projects. You will compare vendor bids, coordinate with main contractors and vendors, and lead regular project meetings with the PM team in Hong Kong.

Proficiency in PM software, floor plans, and strong communication are essential for success. Degree in CM/Engineering/Interior Design is required, with PMP/PRINCE2 certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree required in construction management, engineering, or interior design.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial renovation or interior design.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and cross-departmental communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and reading floor plans/technical drawings.
• Prefer knowledge of network infrastructure cabling and network hardware installation.

Responsibilities

• Compare and analyze vendor/subcontractor bid-day quotes and proposals.
• Communicate with main contractor, subcontractors and vendors as per project requirements.
• Conduct/attend regular project meetings with project management team.
• Request, provide and process submittals, RFIs, shop drawings for project management team review.
• Monitor project progress and present for review on time.
• Request/create procurement log for subcontractor and vendor materials/equipment.
• Communicate and discuss all changes from project management team. Review for conflicts and changes, update internal schedule and provide further look-ahead.
• Communicate schedule changes to subcontractors/vendors. Determine needed resources (manpower/material/equipment). Track schedule and advise of cost impacts or roadblocks.
• Review and coordinate with end user requirements.
