CL Technical Services Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a Project Manager for mission-critical systems. You will lead a team delivering 7x24 on-call support and supervise maintenance and security-related activities for GCG applications and operating systems.

Responsibilities include DR drills, incident handling, audits, and patch management across Linux and Windows environments, with liaison to GETS providers and government backend teams. Strong English and Chinese skills are required.

Formación

• Degree or higher diploma in computing or related subjects.
• 8–10 years IT experience.
• Strong project management and technical consultancy skills.
• Hands-on experience managing large-scale IT systems.
• Experience in Security Risk Assessment & Audit and Privacy Impact Assessment & Audit.
• Hands-on experience with mission-critical IT systems.
• Hands-on experience with patch management and related skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken & written).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a 7x24 on-call support team for GCG applications and OS.
• Supervise maintenance and enhancements of GCG systems; ensure documentation stays updated.
• Oversee Disaster Recovery Drill, Security Incident Handling Drill, security and privacy audits.
• Direct patch management for applications and Windows/Linux servers.
• Advise on backup strategies and manage data transfer during GETS transitions.
• Coordinate with GETS service providers and government backend teams on operational issues.
• Execute tasks assigned by line manager.

Project Manager (Mission Critical System, over $70K)

Manage the team to provide 7x24 on-call support for the application of GCG and operating system for the commissioning of the GCG

Supervise the maintenance and enhancements of GCG application system and ensure the program specifications and other documentation are consistently updated

Manage the team for routine tasks, such as Disaster Recovery Drill, Information Security Incident Handling Drill, Security Risk Assessment & Audit and Privacy Impact Assessment & Audit

Supervise the team to apply security patches of applications and operation systems, including Linux, Windows server and Windows 10/11

Provide advisory on the optimum backup methodology and supervise the team in backing up and transferring GCG data to other Government B/D during transition of GETS to Trade Single Window

Liaise with GETS Service Providers and GETS Government backend system support teams on operational issues of GETS

Perform tasks assigned by the line manager

Requirements

Degree / Higher Diploma in Computing or related subjects

At least 8-10 years experience in IT industry

Good project management and technical consultancy skills

Solid hands-on experience in managing large scale IT system

Solid hands-on experience in Security Risk Assessment & Audit and Privacy Impact Assessment & Audit

Solid hands-on experience in mission critical IT systems

Solid hands-on experience in patch management and technical skills required

Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
