Job summary

CBS PAINTS PTE LTD is seeking a Site Coordination professional to take over awarded projects from the Sales team, review scope and schedule, and liaise with clients on site commencement and required documentation.

You will plan manpower, subcontractors and material deliveries, monitor progress, and ensure works meet budget and quality standards. Regular site checks and progress reporting are part of the role, with final handover on completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, Architecture or related field.
• Coordinate site works, manpower, subcontractors and clients independently.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take over awarded projects from Sales and review scope, requirements and schedule.
• Liaise with clients on site commencement, access, work sequence and document submission (RA, Method Statement, PTW).
• Plan and coordinate manpower, subcontractors and materials for daily site operations.
• Monitor progress to meet schedule and client requirements.
• Coordinate among clients, site supervisors, workers, subcontractors and suppliers during works.
• Conduct regular site checks for workmanship, quality and compliance with specs.
• Monitor costs, material usage and manpower to stay within budget.
• Take progress photos and prepare progress reports as needed.
• Attend completion inspections, arrange defect rectification and follow up to closure.
• Prepare and submit progress/final claims and handover documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Take over awarded projects from the Sales team and review project scope, requirements and work schedule.
• Liaise with clients on site commencement, access arrangements, work sequence and submission of required documents such as RA, Method Statement, PTW and material submissions.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, subcontractors and material deliveries to support daily site operations.
• Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client requirements.
• Coordinate between clients, site supervisors, workers, subcontractors and suppliers during ongoing works.
• Carry out regular site checks to monitor workmanship, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor project costs, material usage and manpower deployment to keep works within budget.
• Take periodic progress photos and prepare progress reports when required.
• Attend completion inspections with clients, arrange rectification of defects and follow up until closure.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, final claims and relevant handover / project completion documents.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, Architecture or other relevant qualification Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, renovation, building maintenance or project coordination.
• Able to coordinate site works, manpower, subcontractors and clients independently.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in painting, coating or building maintenance works will be an advantage.
