Job summary

The successful candidate will manage multi-stakeholder projects, engage senior leaders, and design policies and strategies for public, private, and nonprofit clients. This role combines rigorous project work with advisory insight.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years in a top-tier management consulting firm or equivalent advisory role.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in policy, strategy, and programme design for arts and culture sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-stakeholder projects for cultural programmes.

We are seeking a high-calibre consulting professional with a strong management consulting background (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big Four advisory, or equivalent) who is opening to transitioning client-side.

The successful candidate will combine rigorous project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy/advisory experience with a deep interest in the cultural sector to lead complex, cross-functional programmes for public, private, and non-profit clients in the arts, heritage, luxury and creative industries.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Programme Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-stakeholder consulting projects and cultural programmes (strategy, operating model, policy, funding frameworks, organisational design, etc.).
• Define project scope, workplans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality standards.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners (artists, cultural institutions, government bodies, funders, NGOs).

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients (C-suite, government officials, board members, cultural leaders).
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and co-creation sessions with diverse stakeholders across the arts and culture ecosystem.
• Translate complex policy, strategic, and operational challenges into clear, actionable recommendations.

Policy, Strategy & Programme Design

• Develop strategies, policy frameworks, and programme designs for arts and culture clients (e.g. national cultural strategies, city-wide arts plans, museum/venue strategies, creative economy initiatives).
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and best-practice analysis across local and international cultural sectors.
• Support business development: contribute to proposals, pitch decks, and thought leadership in the arts & culture space.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or equivalent advisory role (Big Four strategy, public sector consulting, policy advisory).
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream projects with senior stakeholder engagement.
