Ambition, in partnership with a leading philanthropic organisation in Hong Kong, is seeking Managers and Senior Managers across Education, Youth Development, Health, Arts & Culture, and Community Impact portfolios. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage grant-making, programme development, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, government bodies, corporates, and communities.
  • Assess funding proposals, monitor project performance, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, committee papers, and stakeholder updates for senior management.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder projects with governance, budget, risk monitoring, and delivery of social outcomes.

We are partnering with a leading philanthropic organisation to identify Managers and Senior Managers across multiple funding portfolios, including Education, Youth Development, Health, Arts & Culture, and Community Impact. These roles offer the opportunity to drive meaningful social change through grant-making, strategic partnerships, programme development, and stakeholder engagement across Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage grant-making, programme development, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation activities.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, government bodies, corporates, and community stakeholders.
  • Assess funding proposals, monitor project performance, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, committee papers, and stakeholder updates for senior management and governance bodies.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring effective governance, budget management, risk monitoring, and delivery of intended social outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with experience in programme management, grant administration, stakeholder engagement, policy, advisory, governance, project management, or community development.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, report-writing, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience working with NGOs, universities, charitable foundations, statutory bodies, consultancies, healthcare organisations, cultural institutions, or community organisations.
  • Passion for creating social impact in one or more of the following areas: Education, Youth, Health, Arts & Culture.
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills.

  • Corporate Sustainability & Philanthropy: Corporate sustainability, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) teams, community investment, foundation management, and corporate philanthropy.
  • Professional Services & Advisory: Management consulting, legal, strategy, research, programme advisory, and stakeholder engagement professionals with a genuine interest in driving social impact.

Candidates from government, consulting, or legal backgrounds are encouraged to apply, even without direct experience in Education, Health, Youth, or Arts & Culture, provided they can demonstrate a strong interest in these sectors and transferable programme management, governance, or stakeholder engagement skills.
