Job Description
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site installation and maintenance activities for telecommunication systems, including PABX, MDF/IDF, cross-connections, and structured cabling
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, internal IT teams, and vendors to ensure all project milestones and site safety requirements are strictly met
- Serve as a technical mentor and coach to field engineers with PC/IT/Network backgrounds, enabling and upskilling them in PABX, key telephone systems, and traditional voice infrastructure
- Develop comprehensive technical guides, standard operating site procedures, and deliver hands-on training sessions for the field engineering team
- Prepare and update technical and drafting deliverables, including As-built drawings, schematic diagrams, containment layouts, and rack elevations using AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Review site requirements and cable route designs to guarantee full compliance with project specifications, local electrical standards, and telecommunication guidelines
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for PABX integration, trunk lines (E1, T1, Analog, SIP), and MDF distribution wiring
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on working experience in site management, telecom or PABX installation, or IT infrastructure projects
- Strong foundation in PC and IT network infrastructure (including LAN/WAN, Ethernet, and Structured Cabling) with the ability to bridge network concepts into telecommunications
- Hands-on experience with PABX systems (such as Avaya, Alcatel, NEC, Mitel, or IP-PBX) and traditional voice distribution frames (MDF or Krone Blocks) is advantageous
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software for drafting schematics, cabling routes, and rack elevation layouts
- Holder of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade A or B) is highly preferred
- Possession of relevant telecom or IT professional certifications, such as Avaya Certified or CCNA, is an advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills with a strong capability to mentor junior and field engineers
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under pressure
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
Employment Terms:
- Working schedule: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, and alternate Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00
- 12-month secondment contract position with potential for renewal
