Job summary

Lane Crawford Joyce Group is seeking a Project and Design Officer to support retail design and store presentation projects from concept through completion. You will provide design development, project coordination, and high-quality 3D renderings to ensure brand consistency across all environments.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Interior Design or Architecture with 4–5 years of experience and is proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 4–5 years of design and project coordination experience.
• Proficient in 3D rendering software (SketchUp or equivalent).
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

• Produce high-quality 3D renderings, mood boards, and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
• Assist in creating technical drawings and design documentation for production and implementation.
• Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and rendering libraries.

As our Project and Design Officer, you will support the execution of retail design and store presentation projects by providing design development, project coordination, and high quality 3D renderings. The role bridges creative vision and practical implementation, ensuring brand consistency and excellence in visual presentation across all store environments.

The Role

• Support the planning and execution of store presentation projects from concept to completion.
• Liaise with internal teams (CBO, visual merchandising & retail operations) and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
• Develop conceptual and detailed design proposals for store layouts, fixtures, and semi personalised spaces.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings, mood boards, and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
• Assist in the creation of technical drawings and design documentation for production and implementation.
• Maintain and organize design assets, templates, and rendering libraries.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 4–5 years of experience in design and project coordination, preferably in retail or hospitality environments.
• Proficient in 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, or equivalent)
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting tools is a plus.
• Strong visual storytelling and presentation skills.
