Lingnan University is inviting applications for a Programme Officer in the Division of Industrial Data Science. The role focuses on administrative support for academic programmes, student recruitment, and engagement activities.

The successful candidate will coordinate orientation, workshops, and events, liaise with stakeholders, and manage records. A recognised degree with two years of experience in higher education administration is required.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree with two years of experience in academic programme administration or related higher education administrative work.
• Excellent computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing, and be proficient in graphic design and multimedia tools.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua is required.
• Positive working attitude and the ability to work well as a team player.
• Strong self-motivation, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to academic programmes, including student recruitment and admission, marketing initiatives, enrichment activities, and student records management
• Assist in planning and execution of student orientation, development workshops, exchange activities, study trips, and other student engagement activities
• Supportdivision/school meetings, events and general office administration
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Person-in-Charge or her delegates
• Work outside normal office hours and/or outside Hong Kong, China occasionally
