Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced product professional to drive end-to-end product development for an asset management platform across Hong Kong and Asia.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, conduct market analysis, and manage launches in a fast-paced, regulated environment, coordinating with Investment, Compliance, Legal and Sales to grow ETFs and multi-asset offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related discipline.
• 7-10+ years in asset management with product development/management experience.
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing management.
• Develop and implement product strategies across HK, Asia, and international markets.
• Coordinate with Investment, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing and external providers to deliver launches.

Job Description

• Partner closely with the Head of Product Development to drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from product ideation and strategic planning through launch execution and ongoing product management.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of product strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives across Hong Kong, regional, and international markets.
• Lead product development initiatives by coordinating with key stakeholders, including Investment, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and external service providers, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities, enhance existing product offerings, and improve the overall competitiveness of the firm's investment product platform.
• Evaluate and recommend product enhancements, including new share class launches, fund restructurings, and other strategic initiatives in response to evolving market trends, client demand, and regulatory developments.
• Review and optimize product development and operational workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and readiness for new product launches or product enhancements.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments across key jurisdictions, assessing the implications for both existing and future investment products, and proactively communicating relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
• Support the ongoing governance and management of the firm's product range, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 7-10+ years of relevant experience within the asset management industry, with a strong track record in investment product development and product management.
• Solid understanding of investment fund structures and regulatory frameworks across major fund domiciles and jurisdictions.
• Broad knowledge of investment products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Alternatives, Quantitative Strategies, ETFs, and Other Collective Investment Schemes.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex product development projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders across functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
