Job summary

The Travel Industry Authority invites applications for an Assistant Manager (Procurement and Finance) to lead procurement and finance activities at Kowloon Bay, HK. You will supervise subordinates, oversee procurement processes and contribute to financial management within a regulatory body.

Requirements include a university degree in relevant disciplines, at least 5 years in procurement, strong Chinese and English skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in regulatory bodies or international firms.
• Strong written and spoken Chinese and English; Putonghua is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinates in procurement and finance matters.
• Oversee procurement mechanisms, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct vendor management and maintain procurement registers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties in procurement.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc procurement reports for management review.
• Review accounting journals and schedules for month/quarter/year-end closing.
• Review cash-flow projections to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments.
• Enhance and administer financial management and e-levy systems.
• Assist in preparation of meeting papers for Corporate Services Committee.
• Perform other duties assigned by senior management.
