Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is recruiting a Deputy General Manager in Private Banking to lead a sizeable team and shape wealth management strategies for high net worth clients in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

You will oversee new business opportunities, manage wealth portfolios, ensure AML/CFT compliance, and maintain strong relations with top clients while delivering exclusive premium service. Fluency in Chinese and English is required.

Qualificações

• 15+ years in private banking with senior management exposure.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent Cantonese and Putonghua, plus English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead private banking department and define wealth management strategies for HNW clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
• Oversee new business opportunities and product/services selection for HNW clients.
• Manage wealth and investment portfolios for high net worth clients.
• Drive client acquisition and monitor sales revenue through business activities.
• Ensure AML/CFT, regulatory compliance, and operational risk controls.
• Strengthen client relationships with investment advice and premium services.

Our client, a Leading Banking Group is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position

Job Duties

• Lead a sizeable team of Private Banking Department and develop private banking wealth management business strategies / financial solutions to Private Banking clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong
• Oversee the Department in new business opportunities for providing the Private Bank’s wealth management products selection and services to high net worth clients
• Manage business plans of wealth management and investment portfolios for high net worth clients
• Manage new clients segment acquisition and monitor sales revenue by conducting sales activities for business
• Implement AML / CFT, regulatory compliance, operational risk management under private banking
• Strengthen existing customer relationships by providing investment advice and delivering exclusive premium customer services

Job Requirements

• University Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting
• Holder of Type 1 and Type 4 Licenses are a MUST
• With currently holding Securities Executive Officer (EO) License is preferred OR
• With Insurance TR license Holder OR currently holding an Insurance Responsible Officer (RO) License is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in private banking business and operations with Senior Management Grading
• Strong people management experience in team leadership with serving private banking clients for providing wealth management products selection and services in Private Banking sector is a MUST
• Good connection with high net worth clients in private banking from Mainland China and Hong Kong
• Sound knowledge in wealth management and investment products
• Self-initiative, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to exercise judgment, work under pressure and liaise effectively with the business and supporting units
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English including Cantonese and Putonghua
