Job summary

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in building scalable solutions for complex insurance and reinsurance workloads.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
• MA/MS and/or LOMA certification preferred.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years of insurance/reinsurance industry knowledge.
• Experience with a variety of database technologies.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or other cloud providers.
• Proficiency in multiple frontend frameworks, databases and deployments.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development.
• Proficiency in containerization.

Responsibilities

• Technical leader for a product addressing complex issues.
• Lead design, development, testing, deployments and support of API-based systems with a cloud-first emphasis.
• Mentor and coach teammates with industry/product knowledge.
• Seek continuous quality improvements for supported products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Master’s degree preferred and/or LOMA certification
