Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Hong Kong seeks a software professional to join the delivery team. You will translate user needs into software requirements, develop across the full stack, and contribute to secure, scalable business applications.

Qualifications

Graduation in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of software development; fresh graduates considered.
Familiar with Agile and DevOps, CI/CD and TDD practices.
Experience with Java, React and database/ messaging techs listed above.
Cloud exposure to Azure and Alibaba Cloud is a plus.
Strong teamwork, communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Build high-quality delivery and comply with specifications and standards.
Ensure system security by applying authentication, authorization, encryption and threat mitigation best practices.
Adopt agile principles and actively participate in sprints and ceremonies.
Understand user requirements and translate into software requirements.
Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain and improve business applications across full-stack lifecycle.
Complete all necessary technical documentation for deployment and maintenance.
Provide production support during non-office hours as required.
