Job summary

HSBC seeks an Associate Relationship Manager to develop Premier clients and manage their wealth with tailored financial solutions. You will build long-term relationships, cross-sell investment products, and coordinate with product specialists to meet complex needs across HSBC branches in Hong Kong.

Key requirements include university-level finance/business education, client-facing experience, strong sales and communication skills, and Cantonese/English fluency.

Qualifications

• University level education, preferably in finance, business or related discipline.
• Experience in client facing environment, with excellent relationship building capability.
• Strong sales and customer orientation, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers.
• Good understanding and strong interest of the financial markets.
• Mature and independent mindset, able to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong commercial orientation with acute interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English, with additional languages is an advantage.
• Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and CPD requirements.
• Candidate without banking background will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Developing Premier customer base and establishing long term relationships with an assigned Premier clientele portfolio.
• Managing the total wealth of clients by matching financial and investment product solutions to their needs.
• Demonstrating genuine curiosity about customers and helping them reach financial ambitions.
• Collaborating with product specialists to provide advanced input to identify and fulfill needs.
• Promoting Premier Service to potential customers and making referrals to other units.
• Supporting branch improvement initiatives and providing customer feedback for service and quality assurance.
• Understanding and adhering to local and global compliance.
• Maintaining operational integrity and HSBC principles and values.
• Remark: multiple work locations available across branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and New Territories.
