CBRE is seeking a Senior Property Portfolio Manager in Hong Kong to oversee day-to-day management of a Hong Kong property portfolio for a global financial institution, covering transaction, estate, data and financial management.
You will lead lease negotiations with landlords and tenants, review tenancy and licence agreements, track critical dates, coordinate legal input, and work with internal teams to ensure accurate records, budgeting and compliance while minimizing vacancy risk.
The Team/ The Business: Our client is a large global financial institution with a significant property portfolio across Hong Kong. This is a great opportunity to join a large CBRE account team delivering real estate services to our client. The Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s portfolio, covering transaction management, estate management, data management, and financial management.
What you will be working on:
Manage day‑to‑day oversight of a Hong Kong property portfolio for a global financial institution
Lead lease negotiations with landlords and tenants; prepare business cases for client approval
Review tenancy and licence agreements, coordinating legal advice where required
Close transactions efficiently while tracking lease critical dates and ensuring contractual compliance
Proactively manage the portfolio to minimise vacancy risk
Handle estate management matters, liaising with landlords, incorporated owners, building managers, and facilities teams
Coordinate premises handover/takeover, reinstatement scope, claims, and audit support
Ensure consistent application of estate management standards and playbooks
Collaborate with internal teams on country initiatives and portfolio revaluation
Partner with Data Management teams to keep systems and records accurate and compliant
Oversee payments, rental obligations, rates, government rent, refunds, and rental relief
Support annual budget forecasting and financial tracking
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Real Estate, Property, Facilities, or related discipline preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the real estate industry
EAA Licence preferred
Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of client and portfolio management
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑cultural environment
Detail‑oriented, numerically competent, and comfortable with financial analysis and budgeting
Fluent in English and Cantonese
Confident handling sensitive matters with professionalism and diplomacy
