Job summary

Colliers Hong Kong is seeking a commercial real estate project management professional to support the delivery and execution of assigned projects. You will liaise with owners, landlords, developers, consultants, and contractors, contribute to design management, and handle cost estimation and tendering.

The role requires university-level real estate/PM education and PM-related training, with 2+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in Real Estate, Project Management or related discipline.
• Formal training in project management / buildingsurveying / interior design is preferred.
• Assistant Project Manager: 2+ years of solid experience in running commercial real estate projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of the project/s assigned.
• Liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other service providers.
• Assist the design management process from concept through construction documentation.
• Prepare cost estimation and manage tendering process and contract administration.
• Support procurement activities, manage the contracts and services for and on behalf of the owners/clients.
• Supervise construction works on-site and coordination of trades.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and address issues promptly.
• Ensure proper project close-out and handover to clients/owners.
• Monitor project financials, including tracking invoices and timely payment collection.

Due to recent growth in our business across the region, we are looking for a commercial real estate project management professional in the Hong Kong team.

Job Description

How you would contribute to business:

• Support the delivery and execution of the project/s assigned
• Liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other service providers
• Assist the design management process from concept through construction documentation

• Prepare and maintain project schedules
• Contribute to identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, ensuring issues are promptly addressed.
• Ensure proper project close-out and handover of projects to clients/owners
• Assist in monitoring project financials, including tracking invoices and supporting timely payment collection from owners/clients
• Other functions to be assigned by the Project Director/Team Head

Qualifications

Skills that help you excel in the role:

• University degree holder, preferably in Real Estate, Project Management or related discipline
• Formal training in project management / buildingsurveying / interior design is preferred
• Assistant Project Manager: 2years+ of solid experience in running commercial real estate projects.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Project Manager
• Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions.
• Experienced in delivering international quality projects in distant markets using in-house or third party providers is an added value.
• Proven participation in development planning and execution experience, and able to adapt these skills in a fast-paced environment requiring close interaction with clients and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Familiar with design software, e.g. AutoCAD, Adobe Indesign, SketchUp, etc. will be an advantage
