Job summary

Bupa in Hong Kong is seeking a policy administration supervisor to lead operations and maximise service levels. You will devise efficient workflows, set SOPs for outsourcing partners, and keep manuals updated to support quality processing.

You will investigate defects, drive improvements with stakeholders, train staff, and ensure risk controls are strong while maintaining high communication standards in English and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required with 5 years policy administration experience in an insurance company (2 years supervisory).
• Experience in system testing and project involvement.
• Excellent communication in English and Cantonese; able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong risk awareness and ability to train staff on new processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor policy administration operations to maximise customer service levels.
• Devise and implement efficient policy administration procedures and workflows.
• Set Standard Operating Procedure manuals and worksheets for outsourcing partners.
• Keep procedure manuals and worksheets updated.
• Investigate defects and errors in processing and suggest improvements.
• Provide training and collect feedback to ensure staff adapt to new processes.
• Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders; enhance the control environment.
• Inspect output quality to ensure smooth process execution.
• Contribute to IT system specifications to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with project teams to align with timescales and objectives.
