Optimum Media Direction in Hong Kong is seeking a Planner / Senior Planner to support the development and execution of media strategies across a diverse client portfolio. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in media planning or buying preferred.

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Planner to join our team. You will support the development and execution of media strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with internal teams and media partners to deliver effective and data-driven campaigns. This role offers excellent exposure to media planning, consumer insights, and campaign execution within a dynamic agency environment.

What you'll be doing

Support the development and execution of media strategies and campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients and media channels.

Assist in developing and implementing media communication strategies, media plans, and campaign executions across all types of media

Prepare and maintain media plans, budget trackers, flowcharts, POVs, presentations, and competitive analyses to support planning recommendations

Meet with media and industry partners to explore new opportunities, market trends, and media solutions for clients

Utilize media planning tools, Excel, and PowerPoint to analyze data, generate insights, and support campaign planning and reporting

What we're looking for

We are looking for an analytical and collaborative individual who is eager to develop a long-term career in the media and advertising industry.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline

1+ year of experience in media planning or buying preferred

Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail

Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally

Comfortable working with people from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds

Curious about emerging trends and developments in advertising, media, and consumer behavior

Passionate about building a career in the advertising and media industry

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; spoken Cantonese is highly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
