Job summary

HAECO Hong Kong at HKIA seeks a Maintenance Planner to ensure aircraft maintenance projects stay on track by preparing work packages and using project tools. You will also maintain maintenance records in line with aviation regulations.

The role requires strong planning, documentation discipline and communication with customers. Proactivity, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and readiness for shift duties are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• HKCEE/HKDSE or equivalent required.
• Higher Diploma in Engineering is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work packages and documentation for maintenance input.
• Keep maintenance records per aviation regulations.
• Monitor progress and ensure on-track maintenance plans.

Position Description

Planner is responsible for ensuring that aircraft maintenance projects are kept on track by preparing work packages and using project management tools. The role is also responsible for keeping associated maintenance records according to aviation regulations.

What You'll Do

• Ensure maintenance documents fully prepared prior to Production aircraft maintenance input.
• Ensure all returned documents and maintenance records completed and updated to the customer maintenance requirements.
• Ensure workplace safety according to company safety policy
• Plan and schedule of aircraft maintenance tasks and documents.
• Monitor maintenance status and progress.
• Liaise with customers on planning maintenance matters.

What You'll Need

• Completion of HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written
• Candidate with a Higher Diploma in Engineering discipline will be an advantage
• Problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as teamwork initiatives
• Shift duties and overtime work is required
