Job summary

HAECO Hong Kong is seeking a Planner for the Cabin Management Center to support Cathay Pacific with maintenance work packages, ensuring on-track delivery and compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate with Production and material teams, prepare plans across line and base maintenance, and liaise with customers on planning matters while maintaining CX cabin standards.

Qualifications

• No relevant experience is required.
• Completed HKCEE/HKDSE or equivalent.
• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering is an advantage.
• Planning experience with relevant engineering or technical qualifications is an advantage.
• Familiar with CX Ultramain, Net-line Ops and TDM system is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper safety procedures and best practices in all cabin deferral defect handling activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, standard procedures, and safety standards.
• Plan, manage, prepare, and issue all maintenance work packages for line and base maintenance activities.
• Coordinate plans for maintenance work packages with Production to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure all managed work complies with standards, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with material management to assure parts supply compatibility with the work package.
• Liaise with customers on planning maintenance matters.
• Ensure workplace safety according to company safety policy.
• Control and scheduling of CX Cabin Condition Program (CCP) and related checks.
• Evaluate and manage Manpower Capacity of Cabin Technical Group.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Cabin Management Center (CMC) is a frontline operational support function to support Cathay Pacific Airways to ensure aircraft cabin conditions are maintained to the highest quality standard. CMC Planners are responsible for aligning with customer and ensuring all maintenance work is kept on track by preparing work packages and using project management tools.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure proper safety procedures and best practices in all cabin deferral defect handling activities.
• Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements, standard procedures, and the highest safety standards.
• Plan, manage, prepare, and issue all maintenance work package for line and base maintenance activities, based on airline operations, aircraft time available, complexity of work and availability of required resources such as facilities, tooling, materials, and manpower
• Coordinate plans for maintenance work packages with the Production to ensure successful completion
• Ensure that all managed work is compliance with standards, policies and procedure
• Coordinate with material management team to assure that the parts supply is compatible with the work package provided
• Liaise with customers on planning maintenance matters
• Ensure workplace safety according to company safety policy
• Control and scheduling of CX Cabin Condition Program (CCP), CX CMC related AEO and SWC, Cabin Condition Checks and Cabin Seat Checks to fulfill CX standard and requirements.
• Evaluate and manage Manpower Capacity of Cabin Technical Group (CTG)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• No relevant experience is required
• Completed HKCEE/HKDSE or equivalent.
• Candidate with a Higher Diploma or above in Engineering discipline will be an advantage.
• Planning experience with relevant engineering or technical qualifications will be an advantage
• Familiar with CX Ultramain, Net-line Ops and TDM system will be an advantage
• Lead Planner as a consideration for more working experience
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
