Job summary

Mother’s Choice Limited is seeking a Speech Therapist to join the Early Intervention Services team in Hong Kong. You will work within a multidisciplinary group to deliver community-based services, conduct assessments, and guide caregivers in language, communication, and feeding development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent recognised for practice in Hong Kong.
• Eligible for HKIST membership or Accredited Register listing.
• Minimum 2 years of ST experience, preferably in paediatrics, early intervention, infant feeding, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary EIS team to design and deliver early intervention services.
• Provide speech and language assessment, developmental screening, intervention, and consultation for communication and feeding development.
• Conduct feeding and swallowing assessments and support caregivers with safe feeding strategies.
• Support development and review of Individualized Development Plans (IDPs) with families and team.
• Deliver community-based EIS for infants and young children, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Design and facilitate parent education programmes for caregiver coaching and language-rich interactions.
• Empower families through strengths-based consultation to enhance child development outcomes.
• Develop training resources and tools to support capacity-building across staff and partners.
• Track programme outputs and outcomes with accurate records and timely reporting.
