Job summary

SPOT Centre Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated assistant to support therapists in a multi-disciplinary team. You will participate in sessions, help with assessments, manage equipment, and keep therapy spaces clean and stocked.

The role requires flexibility, organisation, and good communication, with English proficiency and Cantonese language skills a plus. Prior patient services and teamwork experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Fluent written and spoken Cantonese is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience with provision of Patient/Client Services.
• Experience working in a team.

Responsibilities

SPOT is an interdisciplinary children's therapy centre offering Speech, Physio and Occupational Therapy as well as Counselling, and Psychology services in 4 locations.

Job Description:

We are looking to recruit the above assistant to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team to provide support for therapists.

Duties include but not be limited to:

• Participating in sessions where therapists require support.
• Assisting with scoring and generating assessments for clinicians. Sending out questionnaires
• Equipment and Toy maintenance: following operating instructions; troubleshooting -breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Cleaning and tidying of therapy spaces and storage areas throughout the day.
• Stock taking and ordering; inventorying stock; placing orders; keeping supplies available.
• Setting up standardised assessments in preparation for therapist use.
• Activity / craft preparation.
• Manage SPOT administrative duties helping the multidisciplinary teams

• Interest in any of the following areas: biological science, child development, child therapy, psychology and health care

• Good observation skills.

Requirements:
