Job summary

The ISF Academy in Hong Kong invites applications for a Part-time Squash Instructor reporting to the Head of Squash. The successful candidate will conduct lessons for all levels, maintain program standards, and help ensure positive outcomes for students.

We seek a candidate with at least two years of squash teaching experience with both Learn to Play and competitive elements, a Level 1 coaching certificate (advanced level preferred), current First Aid/CPR, and strong administrative skills using

We are now seeking a self-driven, passionate and experienced candidate to fill the following position:

Reporting to the Head of Squash and working closely with the Academy Sport Teams Department, this position will assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Squash program at The ISF Academy. Conduct lessons for all levels as per the Squash program. Maintain a consistent standard and ensure all programs achieve positive results.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide specific squash coaching to students to expand skills and elevate their games;


• Keep accurate records and schedules; and


• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Squash.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.


• Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.


• The above working hours may vary subject to the actual timetable of co-curricular activities.

Requirements

• Have 2 years’ experience in teaching squash to primary and secondary school aged students, both ‘learn to play’ and competitive elements;


• Be passionate about teaching Squash to young children;


• Certificate for qualified Level 1 Coach; advanced level will be preferred;


• Possess current first aid and CPR certificate;


• Knowledge of Hong Kong Squash's acceptance criteria for its junior development program, including but not limited to tournament schedule, tournament entry rules, advancement rules;


• Strong administrative skills with excellent command of Microsoft office and Google platform.
