Job summary

Sanrio Wave Hong Kong Company Limited is seeking a Part-Time Product Designer for the Design and Creative Division. You will create key visuals based on character guidelines, and oversee design from research and concept to final prototype and packaging.

You will manage product line quality and collaborate with sales, production and head office to ensure designs are practical and market-ready. The role requires a degree or diploma in Product Design, 5+ years in IP/design, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Degree holder or Diploma graduate in Product Design or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-year experience in IP industry, with character design and gifts.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop on Mac.
• Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Ability to carry ideas from concept to finished product.
• Creative, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Strong sense of product and graphic design; understands global fashion trends.

Part-Time Product Designer (Design and Creative Division)

• Base on character guideline to create key visual for product
• Product design from the research, conceptual idea, sketch, presentation, final prototype with package design to production
• Manage and control the product line/ brand quality
• Work closely with sales team, production team and head office to ensure the design is workable and realistic

Requirements:

• Degree holder or Diploma graduate in Product Design or related discipline
• Minimum 5-year experience in IP industry, worked with character design and gift and premium is prefer
• Proficiency in using illustrator and Photoshop in Mac
• Knowledge or experience in manufacturing process is an advantage
• Ability to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished product
• Creative, self-motivated, responsible and work independent
• Good sense in both product and graphic design
• Understand the trend of fashion, product and material use in global market
• Working Hours: Flexible working hours, with a minimum of 3-4 hours per day
