From the first sketch to the final packaging, you will help turn globally loved stories into products people can collect, wear and use every day. You will work across franchises including KPop Demon Hunters, One Piece, Sakamoto Days, Le Petit Prince, Brawl Stars, Stranger Things, Wednesday, Harry Potter, Squid Game, Naruto, DC and The Lord of the Rings - with more to come.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of graphic design, product design and licensed entertainment. You will move between concepts, packaging, product graphics, presentations, renders and marketing assets, working closely with our product development and marketing teams.
A realistic preview of the role. Licensed-product development moves fast. Priorities, briefs and approval directions can change, and some strong concepts will be revised heavily or may not reach production. You will thrive here if you can absorb feedback, adapt quickly and keep the quality high without taking every change personally.
What you will do
- Create original, commercially relevant concepts for new and existing licensed-product ranges.
- Translate brand guidelines and licensor feedback into strong product graphics, packaging and presentation materials.
- Develop artwork, mock-ups, renders and general arrangement / technical drawings, then support prototyping and production follow-up.
- Design across categories such as accessories, stationery, collectibles, lifestyle products, apparel and gifting.
- Create brand and digital assets for Cinereplicas and support marketing campaigns when needed.
- Research trends, fan culture, competitors, materials and product opportunities with the marketing and product teams.
- Manage several projects at once, keep files accurate and production-ready, and deliver reliably against tight deadlines.
- Collaborate clearly with internal teams, suppliers and licensors across time zones.
What we are looking for
- A diploma or degree in graphic design, product design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience are also welcome.
- A strong portfolio showing excellent visual judgment, concept thinking and polished execution - ideally across products, packaging or licensed consumer goods.
- Professional fluency in Cantonese and English.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- The ability to work independently, ask smart questions, take ownership and collaborate generously.
- Calm, organized execution under pressure, with close attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
- A constructive response to feedback, changing priorities and approval cycles.
Nice to have
- Experience in packaging, toys, gifts, fashion accessories or entertainment licensing.
- 3D skills in Rhino, SolidWorks or similar software.
- Experience mentoring or coordinating other designers; this is an advantage for more senior candidates, not a requirement for everyone.
- Curiosity about new creative tools, including responsible AI-assisted workflows, while respecting confidentiality and intellectual property.
What you will get
- A genuinely varied creative role: new products, new categories and new licenses keep the work moving.
- The opportunity to influence ideas from early concept through development, packaging and launch.
- An international, multicultural and hands-on working environment.
- A five-day work week, Hong Kong public holidays and medical insurance.
- A year-end performance bonus.
- Monthly salary of HKD 18,000-32,000, depending on experience and the scope of the role.
