Job summary

Learning Time invites a passionate Product Designer to craft educational toys and play materials for early childhood. You will transform briefs into production-ready concepts and own products end-to-end from concept through sampling to final approval.

With a strong portfolio and fluency in 3D design tools (Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot) youll design for wood, fabric and silicone, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure feasible, engaging designs for babies and parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related creative discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in industrial/product design, preferably within the toys or baby products category.
• A strong design portfolio showing early product design work, from concepts to production-ready specs.
• Proficiency in 3D design and rendering software (Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Alias).
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic communication and presentation layout.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, especially with wood, fabric and silicone materials, to ensure designs are realistic.
• Must submit portfolio together with application.

Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development: Design physical educational products and play materials for our age-based kits. Transform written briefs into concepts and production-ready specs.

End-to-End Ownership: Own your products end-to-end, from concept, sampling, revisions and final production approval, according to agreed timelines.

Function-Led Design Thinking: Ground design decisions in early-childhood development reasoning, not just aesthetics, and be able to explain the design thinking behind every choice.

Cross-Team Coordination: Design with materials, cost, and manufacturing in mind, working closely with our production coordinator.

User Testing & Validation: Run your own validation, observing real parents and kids using early samples, and incorporate what you learn back into the design before it goes to final review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related creative discipline.
