Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad Hong Kong Branch seeks a hands-on generalist leader to head a lean team responsible for secure, HKMA-compliant Technology & Operations for the Hong Kong branch. You will oversee daily banking operations, IT infrastructure, and outsourcing, mitigating local technology and regulatory risks.

You will mentor a lean team, liaise with Head Office and auditors, and drive automation trends while ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance across TM-G-1 and SA-2

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in corporate/wholesale banking operations and/or IT management.
• Hands-on generalist leader capable of navigating ambiguity in a lean environment.
• Strong understanding of HKMA regulations, risk frameworks, and data security.
• Fluency in English; Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-office operations including clearing and remittances; ensure timely, compliant settlement.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and outsourcing; maintain high availability to global standards.
• Ensure HKMA TM-G-1 and SA-2 compliance; implement robust risk controls.
• Develop and test the branch's BCP/DR; oversee vendor governance and HO outsourcing.
